We've all heard the real estate agent pitch, "If I don't sell your home in X days, I will buy it". Sure sounds good right? Maybe....but what you aren't being told is that in order to stand by that guarantee, a real estate agent will likely list your home WAY below fair market value to ensure a sale. Of course buyers want to get the biggest bang for their buck so if they see your home priced below market value, they will jump at the chance. By listing and selling your home at a discounted rate, it gets that real estate agent out of their guarantee. BUT, in the end, you may have left money on the table for what is your largest asset.
So how do you sell your home in the shortest time and get the most out of your home? By pricing your home at market value or only slightly below market, you should be able to sell your home within a reasonable time without the gimmick. Full article can be found here
