Urban Sprawl vs. Tiny Living

We've all heard that Calgary's housing has the problem of urban sprawl.  In many other large urban centres, there is a higher population density that resides in apartments and townhouses.  However, not too many urban centres have such small living quarters as Japan.  Originally, these tiny rooms were designed for backpackers and short term stays.  But these "capsule hotels" have also become home to some for the long term, others just temporarily.  Some of these "capsules" only have a curtain for a door and it isn't tall enough to stand in.  Full store here
