“Most people who don’t love what they’re doing, don’t stick with,” says Adrienne, who has been a full-time Realtor for several years. “I love being a Realtor because it offers a new challenge every day and because of the friendships that evolve.”
Many of her clients have been with her for so long that now she is working with the next generation in the family. “It’s such a privilege to have people let me into their lives and trust me to handle their property,” whether it’s helping them find the home of their dreams or selling the property in a timely manner and for the right price.
The dynamic Realtor with Re/Max Landan is determined to go that extra step for her customers, making sure they not only meet their real estate goals, but enjoy the whole process.
Adrienne’s philosophy towards real estate is to provide personalized service, which is sometimes rare to find in today’s hectic lifestyle, and she is determined to treat everyone how she would want to be treated.
“It seems life is so fast and automated, and often people feel like they are just another number,” Adrienne says. “I prefer offering a personalized service. You can call me on my cellphone, contact me through Facebook or Twitter, text me or e-mail me and you will get a personal reply from me. Sure sometimes you may have to leave a message, but I always get back the person quickly and personally; messages I put on Facebook or Twitter are from me personally, not some automatic reply.
“I think people are really surprised when they get a personal response from me, they don’t expect that and they really appreciate it,” she says.
Adrienne also takes the time to meet with her clients, truly listens to what they are saying and educates them about the process so they can make informed decisions. Through her experience and knowledge she is able to help buyers determine what they are looking for in a home and explains details they’ll need to know from financial to legal aspects. For sellers she provides with information to help them understand the marketplace, what is selling in their neighbourhood and what their competition is, so they can determine a realistic price.
The hard-working Realtor also makes it easy for her clients to stay informed and keep in touch by utilizing today’s technology including the Internet and social media. (Her website is www.999move.com; you can reach her at 999move on Facebook; 999realtor @ Twitter; and 403-999-MOVE on her cell.)
“I like to keep my website current and human-friendly, and I write all the content myself, including my posting on Facebook where I blog. I’m not just cutting and pasting other people’s words,” she says, which keeps it personal.
She also makes sure that listings are informative and up-to-date with new pictures and tours to reflect changes in the property or even the weather outside. “It’s all in the details,” Adrienne says, who also ensures her clients get maximum exposure on the website by writing as much details as possible about property and adding as many photos as allowed – she often takes 50 to 60 photos so she has lots to choose from in order to select the best for the website.
Adrienne will also help her clients in staging their home to put the best “face” forward to potential buyers. This personalized the service is one reason why the majority of Adrienne’s clients are repeat and referrals. “You don’t get that unless you have customer satisfaction.”
And it’s likely also the reason why she has been able to obtain so many industry-based awards including: Re/Max Platinum Club, Million Dollar Club and Re/Max Hall of Fame.
But while awards are nice, Adrienne, who is also a proud supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network, says the most satisfying aspect of being a Realtor is “at the end of the day when you’ve done a great job for a client and they are so overjoyed they give you a hug, that’s just the greatest thing.”
